INFORMATION, TERMS & CONDITIONS OF
REXCOOL BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2023.
This tournament is organized by Rexcool Sport Centre. addressed at 1397,
Jalan BS 3/1, Taman Bukit Serdang, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

1. Objective Of the Tournament
- Promote badminton among the local community and our Rexcool customers
- To help increase the interest, getting experience and confidence.
- To appeal community solidarity though the sport of badminton.
2. Date, Time, Venue
Date: 28th May 2023 (Sunday)
Time: 10.00 am to 7.00 pm
Venue: REXCOOL SPORT CENTRE (Waze/ Google Map)
1397, Jalan BS 3/1, Taman Bukit Serdang, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor.
Closing Date: 22nd May 2023 (or when 32 entries per category are achieved)
3. Categories of the Tournament:
- Veteran Men Doubles (85) – Both players combined age must be 85 and above on birthday year (as of 1st January 2023)
- Mixed Doubles (Novice) – No age limit
4. Participation
- Interested parties can register by giving full information needed in our google form.
- The entry fees can be made by online banking in the name of
REXCOOL SPORT CENTRE (HLB,ACC NO. 35600105757) or ATM deposit. - The entry fee will be RM 120, the maximum number of team entries will be 32 team per category. Subsequent entries may not be entertained even if entries are submitted before the closing date.
- Once registered, team can whatsapp proof of payment to 012 216 6984.
- Players are not allowed to change partner after google form submission.
5. Rules of the game
- The tournament will be conducted by knockout system throughout the competition. The 30-rally point system (one games/switching side at 15 point) will be used from the first round, pre quarter final and quarter final. In the semi-final and final will use 21 rally point system (best of 3 games). The Competition Schedule will be post at our Facebook page 3 days before the tournament starts.
- Protest can be done between 25 – 27 May 2023. All protest(s) must be submitted with evidence & RM 300 protest fee (per protest).
- No protest will be entertained after game start.
- Shuttlecock will be using RSL Supreme
- Each match will have Umpire and Referee monitoring and controlling the match
- Umpire have the right to make any decision at any point of match.
6. Safety & Security
The organizers are not responsible for any untoward incidents although efforts will be taken to prevent them before, during or after the tournament.
7. Winner Prizes
Veteran Men’s Doubles (85)
- Champion: RM 1000+ Medals + Prizes
- 2nd Runner up: RM 500+Medals + Prizes
- Semi-Finalist: RM 250+ Medals + Prizes
Mixed Doubles (Novice)
- Champion: RM 1000+ Medals + Prizes
- 2nd Runner up: RM 500+Medals + Prizes
- Semi-Finalist: RM 250+ Medals + Prizes
*(prizes depends on sponsorship received by the organizer)
8. DELAY / INJURY / WITHDRAWAL
- Players are required to report their attendance to the Tournament Referee morning/evening before the match starts
- Only 5 minutes are allowed to late players and after that their opponent is given a walkover
9. CLOTHING
- Players can wear any type of suitable and decent sports clothing
- Players are not allowed to wear clothing inappropriate/sensitive.
(E.g.: cigarette brands, political parties, liquor, pornographic images)
10. GENERAL INFORMATION
- Each player is responsible for their transportation, food and drink, player discipline, health, team safety and so on
- The Organizing Committee is not responsible for players and cannot be prosecuted in any court for management negligence of a player.
11. Condition of the competition
- Veteran Men’s Doubles (85)
Former state players in the last 5 years (last state participation 2018) are NOT ALLOWED to participate in Veteran Men’s Doubles category.
- Mixed Doubles (Novice)
Former state players or national players who have represented the state or country in the MSSM, Circuit National GP or SUKMA tournament are NOT ALLOWED to participate in Mixed Doubles category.
- During tournament day all player must present us Identity card (I.C) / Passport for verification and checking purpose.
- Match Schedule will be released on 25 May 2023. Players can no longer make any changes on the team once schedule is out.
- Protest can be done with between 25 – 27 May 2023, but players must provide regarding evidence and RM 300 protest fee (per protest). Once verification is successful, the team will be disqualified and no refund will be given.
